LOAD Days 2 & 3 & A Challenge

There was a tragic family  emergency yesterday. https://www.kktv.com/content/news/Plane--567510981.html Since crafting is sooo not as important as family, I didn’t complete a layout yesterday.  But I did get a 2 pager done today, in the Project Life App.

The prompt for day 2 was about resistance, so I documented something that was a bit difficult for us all.

Challenge:
Besides LOAD, Scrappy Jen Schow is doing a Stash Busting challenge this month with her Facebook “Use it or Lose it” group, and March will be Calvinball (find out more here.)

And I have to get my stash either packed, or into a much smaller crafting space by the first of March, when we’re putting our house on the market.

I got a whole lot of craft supplies sorted and quite a few packed today.  I have a good sized pile to donate as well.

As I was sorting, I came across a bin with a whole bunch of paper strips.

Here’s the pile they made:

I started sorting through them to see if they’re worth saving.  Quite a few ended up in the trash bin. Anything with a hole in it, branding strips (yes even cute ones), anything smaller than 3/4” wide or 4” tall.

I started sorting them by size, but I realized that I was spending way more time than it was worth, so I kinda roughly stacked them, pulling ones that were too small to see closer to the front.
This is what was left:

Yes that is still a lot!! So I put them back into a baggie in the bin, but I am leaving it on my desk.  Anything that is not used by the end of March, I will send to a random commenter in the US or Canada, If I can get at least 10 comments on this post, answering the following questions:

So how do you use your scraps? How do you decide what  scraps  to keep and which ones to throw away?
