New Purse

I recently decided that the backpack I have been using for a purse, was getting to be too much.  It is big, so I carried a lot of stuff in it, much of which I don’t really need.  I came across the Kennedy Bag from  sewsweetness.com .  I altered it a bit, made it a teensy bit wider and added a few more pockets.  What do you think?  I didn’t think I needed to follow all the instructions for the buckles since they were just decorative.  However, I learned that I was wrong!  I ended up having to glue them in place, because they needed more support. Next time, I will follow all her instructions. This is an extra zipper pocket.  It may affect the stability of the bag a bit, but it is well worth it to me.   I added an extra row of pockets here and some on the side panels, as well as the one on the back. I really like how it turned out!  It has room for everything I need without being  too bulky. Thanks sewsweetness.com!
